Leadership Team

Tim Collins	Founder and Owner. Mr. Collins started SimpleNet Software in the summer of 2003. His main goal was to create a company that writes excellent software that is actually sold to and used by real people (in stark contrast with many of the very large companies he has worked for.) Tim Collins	Director of Software Engineering. Mr. Collins began his career with a B.S. in Zoology, strange pets, and a strong motivation to build a career in computers. A bit more than twenty five years later Mr. Collins is a software architect, technical leader, and seasoned project manager. He is a tireless advocate for object-oriented analysis, design, and project management from first product concept to deployment and ongoing enhancement. He is a mentor, a teacher, and willing public speaker. His interests include Java technology (J2EE/EJB/Servlets as well as Swing and J2ME), C++, SQL, CORBA, and UML. He has experience on most existing development platforms and also on a bunch of platforms that don't exist any longer. He has industry experience in network management, network quality of service, voice over IP, firewall and VPN software, business process remodeling, workflow, CASE tools, compilers and parsers, and on and on.
Tim Collins	Director of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Collins developed a variety of product strategies and marketing approaches for a very large but shrinking PBX and Voice over IP company, some of which they actually used. Some of the ideas they didn't have found a home at SimpleNet Software.
Tim Collins	Web Site Design. Mr. Collins is responsible for the site design, graphic design, animations, logos, and content for this site. He has learned the hard way that talented people who know what they are doing are worth every penny they cost and hopes that someday SimpleNet Software can afford some.
